Paint Thinners

Paint thinners can be used for adjusting paint consistency and aiding in equipment cleaning before and after painting.  Paint consistency may require adjustment when spraying to give optimal results or if paint viscosity requires reducing due to environmental conditions.  The right thinner will depend upon the type of paint that requires thinning;

• Polyurethane paints - Jotun Thinners No.10 or SML Polyurethane Thinner
• Xylene paints - Jotun Thinners No.7 or SML Xylene Thinner
• Epoxy paints - Jotun Thinners No.17 or SML Epoxy Thinner
• Alkyd paints - Jotun Thinners No.2 or SML Alkyd Thinners

Jotun products come in 5L and 20L tins, whilst SML thinners are available in convenient 1L and 2.5L sizes
