Step 1 - Surface Preparation

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
• Remove loose rust, mill scale, and deteriorated coatings by appropriate methods such as wire brushing or sanding.

Step 2 – Thinning

• It may be of benefit to thin in hot and / or windy conditions.  If requried use Jotun Thinner No. 7 or SML Xylene Thinner

Step 3 - Application Methods

• Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C, avoiding direct sunlight on a hot day.
• Ensure relative humidity is below 85% during application and drying, and try to avoid painting outside if there is a risk of rain
• Brush or Roller - Suitable for small areas and touch-ups.
• Airless Spray - Recommended for larger surfaces to achieve uniform thickness.

Step 4 - Drying and Recoating

• Touch Dry - Approximately 30 minutes at 23°C.
• Dry to Recoat - Approximately 2 hours at 23°C.

Step 5 - Cleanup

• Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with Jotun Thinner No. 7 or SML Xylene Thinner.

A. At 23°C, it becomes touch dry within 30 minutes and is ready for recoating after 2 hours. Drying times may be longer in colder temperatures or high-humidity conditions.
