Jotun Muki Z 2001 is a two-pack epoxy primer containing a silicate solution and zinc paste. The dry film contains 30% zinc by weight which allows for optimum cutting and welding by providing reduced weld defects and backburning. Muki Z 2001 is good in the corrosion protection of steel during normal storage and fabrication, and reduces exposure to fumes during welding and cutting compared with shopprimers that contain higher levels of zinc.
